About Lotus

Lotus Women’s Health opened in September 2023 with one goal in mind: to provide women with compassionate, personalized care in a warm and supportive environment. After years of working in corporate medicine, Dr. Eduardo Aguin wanted to create a practice where patients always come first and healthcare decisions are guided by experience, empathy, and trust.

The practice started with Dr. Aguin as a solo provider, and the very first baby delivered at Lotus Women’s Health was his own daughter, a special moment that helped shape the heart of the practice.
Since then, the Lotus team has continued to grow. Certified Nurse Midwife Angie Scarpa joined the practice, bringing her holistic and patient-centered approach to care. In January 2026, Certified Nurse Midwife Holli Askren also joined the Lotus family, expanding the team’s commitment to providing personalized care for every patient.

At Lotus Women’s Health, we care for women through every stage of life, from routine well-woman exams and prenatal care to advanced gynecologic care and menopause management. We combine modern medical technology with a relationship-based approach, making sure every woman feels heard, respected, and supported.

What makes Lotus Women’s Health different is our small, close-knit team. We take the time to truly listen, educate, and advocate for our patients. Here, you are never treated like a number, you are treated like family.

Marina (Coordinator)

“With a background in Biochemistry and Chemical Biology, experience in glioblastoma research, and years working in clinical oncology trials, I have seen many different models of patient care throughout my career. What stands out most at Lotus Women’s Health is the genuine compassion, professionalism, and dedication shown to every patient.

Dr. Aguin, along with midwives Angela Scarpa and Holli Askren, provide thoughtful and individualized care while creating an environment where patients feel comfortable, supported, and truly heard. Their commitment to both clinical excellence and patient-centered care is something I deeply admire.

Dr. Aguin also delivered my daughter — the first baby delivered through the practice — which makes Lotus Women’s Health especially close to my heart.”

Over time, this country has given me opportunities, growth, and experiences that have also allowed me to feel it as my home, and today I love it as my own.

My life mission is to positively impact people’s lives through empathy, kindness, and service, always remembering that small gestures can make a big difference. I firmly believe in treating every person with respect, understanding, and warmth, especially in moments when they need it the most.

As part of the front desk team at Lotus Women Health, my mission is to provide a warm, human, and positive experience to every patient who walks in, especially during moments that may bring nervousness, worry, or vulnerability. From the beginning of my career in this field, I understood that personal growth was important, but over time it has become an essential part of my life and the way I perform my work every day.

I have learned to always put myself in my patients’ shoes, understanding that many times they are not only seeking medical care, but also comfort, reassurance, and kindness. A smile, words of support, or simply making someone feel heard can make a significant difference in their experience.

I am passionate about helping and making every person who walks through our doors feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued. Each experience has taught me the importance of empathy, patience, and human connection. My goal is to continue growing both personally and professionally, inspiring positive energy in those around me and proudly representing the values of dedication, respect, and service in everything I do.
